Wondering too. I think mine may possibly have mites too but then again it might be the coops too small and theres a lot of flies and gnats cause its summer now so idk. Working on cleaning it more often and of course getting the new coop built. Poultry Protector helps somewhat but i dont do it...
Thanks everyone! Definitely good it fell out even though I now have a hole there lol but oh well, it's just barely far enough bsck that you really can't see it anyway. And sally, i hope your kiddos tooth falls out soon!!
My tooth just fell out.. I was eating a cosmic brownie and thought "wow this m&m is really hard.."
I think an m&m accidentally got caught in it and next thing the tooth is in the brownie and i thought it was the m&m till i looked in a mirror lol
Also, to clarify, it's good that it fell out...
Thanks!! They definitely loved it! I try to let them out about 2 hours before bed but yesterday I let them out 4 hours before. They love it. Our yard is huge but they tend to only hang out under those trees or in the woods next to their coop.
Yup! That might now be for a while though
Aw no problem! I bet that definitely was nice :) and hopefully! I used the heating pad method with mine but I bought a heat lamp before I got them and before I found out about it. But yeah, I saw their colors from the beginning aha but yeah, they slept all night so it was great
Figured I'd let the girls out a little bit earlier today to enjoy the last sunshine and what do they do? Run straight for the shade it's okay, cloud is covering the sun atm anyway. May is in laying an egg.
Just discovered another neighbor has chickens. They were free ranging by some bushes next to the road haha couldn't get a good look since it's a road and I couldn't stop but looked like maybe a few Easter Eggers. Or at least one. Also a silver/laced one
Yeah, it was definitely weird. Saw parts of it on the news today.
Ah okay. I figured and haven't gotten one yet for that reason but then I was thinking, my girls can be VERY loud sometimes. I thought maybe it was their egg song and maybe it still is but sometimes the Australorps or EEs just...
Btw I really need to hatch one of these days. Also stupid question but do you think a roo would be much louder than my sometimes obnoxiously loud hens? Ha
