There is still no progress. It’s over 48 hrs So I keep chipping the shell around? Do I need to moisten the membrane? I’m so worried I don’t wanna kill it

This is what we were able to do. We stopped when we saw a tiny bit of blood. I put light pressure on it and it stopped. Put it back in the incubator.

Ok, I thought it could get shrink wrapped if I take it out. Should I give it some more time before chipping the shell away?

Also the other egg is days behind it.

It was opening and closing it’s mouth a lot yest, only have seen it once or twice today. If I open the incubator do I need to do it in a steamy bathroom?

Hello, I’m a first timer. This silkie egg has been this way now for 48 hours. The chick is still moving/breathing. Its position hasn’t changed. Beak has been in this hole the whole time. Do I intervene??
