You’re putting this nuc into a 10 frame setup? You could leave them in the nuc a bit longer to grow numbers. I will say this… Kamon Reynolds will shake a frame from this box and that box and walk away with tons of success. -

My 2 colonies from last year are doing great. I have 2 medium supers almost full of honey, not all capped. I added a deep with 9 frame spacers to each colony. That should keep them busy for a while. It’s so hot today (102F). I wanted to do some bee changes and check out my long hive, which I haven’t opened since I put the bees inside. Yard work took up the cooler morning hours, so the bees get another day of peace and harmony.
