I finally managed to make a picture of the
World Famous Cheese, Ham, Salami and
Duck-Egg Sandwich
I am eating one every morning for breakfast and have not seen a doctor in two months…
That might be, but the boiled goose eggs i had as a kid were not as good as the duck eggs. And those were Muscovy eggs.
But the best eggs were those from my uncle's bantam chickens: Almost all yolk, only a thin layer of egg white outside.
I don't remember if the goose eggs i ate were dry, but i do remember that the yolk coming out of of that giant eggs was a disappointment. The yolks of the duck eggs are much larger.
Once again the DUX imposed ITs will on me! - I wanted to eat Goulash with pasta, but no, the DUX had the ducks crack the shells of three eggs, which must be consumed immediately. So again:
Fried pasta with ham and scrambled eggs.
I know i could have made sunnyside up fried eggs, but...
It is true, that i like boiled (to perfection) eggs most. But i also love scrambled and fried eggs (sunny side up!). Its just that boiled eggs are the most easy to prepare - apart from eating raw eggs. 🤢
I don't feel too well currently, i blame the weather that has turned from fridge to oven...
So this evening:
Left-Over ham, salami and pasta fried with onions in butter and topped with three scrambled dux-eggs. Two of my girls literally forced me to eat their eggs by laying (almost) soft shelled eggs right in front of my feet. »Eat that for dinner!« 🤣
And then plant more kale tomorrow!
A really big pot full of boiling water!? - I would definitely manage to burn down the house with that! And then would have to ask the dux if i can move in with them… 😜
I see, its called an egg-cooker here in the USA:
And i have boiling the eggs down to an art with mine: The air-bubble must be...
Back to the daily ham, salami and duck-egg sandwich for breakfast. I manage to flawlessly operate the egg-boiler yesterday evening and have now boiled eggs for the next five days…
