I don't have an answer for you, unfortunately. When I've incubated Marans eggs in the past, I just couldn't see anything in them at any point. Good luck with them! :fl

Yeah, go ahead and switch me over to a yes. No sense in denying it any longer. 🤭 Not sure how many will actually develop this early in the year, but one of my coops seems to be producing plenty of eggs, so I should at least have something to set around the 9th.

Haha, nah, they're Cochin bantams, stubborn little spitfires. Knowing how they are, if I did do something like that, they'd withdraw egg laying even longer just to spite me!! 🤭

Easter's pretty early this year, so I don't honestly know if I will be able to participate; it all depends on when my Cochins start laying again and whether they're actually breeding in early March or not. However, I am hoping to participate again this year. :fl
