    My Mom did not get knee replacements. She is now 83 and uses a walker and a wheel chair. Hopefully I will be able to go longer with knee replacement when I get it...but I am hoping for a treatment that will not need a replacement.

    I do understand how hard it can be to take care of the girls when one gets older. I am 64 and still hanging in. I will need to get a knee replacement in the future but so far so good...If a bit painful.

    I too have reduced my flock! I now have 7 hens instead of 35 or so....It is so much easier to take car of the smaller flock.
