Today at SXSW I watched a documentary entitled Chicken People that I thought was really great. It followed three people who've been breeding for the Standard of Perfection for their respective breeds at home and at two shows.
This is the first documentary I've ever seen on the subject, and I found it delightful. Even if a person knew nothing of poultry, it goes over everything.
They featured Brian Knox with his silver laced wyandottes and brahmas, Sheri McCullough and her bearded silkies, and Brian Caraker who had various birds.
If you're in or around Austin, TX it'll be showing again Tuesday and Thursday.
