Can you use cedwr shaving. I hear that it keeps away chicken mites

No cedar shavings, cedar is toxic to chickens.
We get our pine shavings/flakes from TSC. We've used both but prefer the flakes, they seem less dusty.

ok.. after a week or so of using tractor supply company pine shavings..
i don't think i'll buy them again.. it's wasteful when the shavings are too chunky like this
plus there's no fresh pine smell from the shavings at all
