Within the last week, we have gotten four eggs like this. They appear as a normal egg, the shell is completely intact and are light (almost feel empty). We collect daily and are positive they have not been hiding anywhere in the coop. They do not have a rotten odor. They have been 3-4 different colored eggs, so we know several birds, at least, are laying them. Our egg production has also dropped dramatically, but we attributed that to molting. Please help!

That is the strangest thing I've ever seen! Sorry I'm no help but welcome to

Thank you!

Three more of these eggs... Haven't opened them yet, but know what's inside because of how light they are.

I've never seen anything like that....not even in the weird egg thread.
Really strange that it's more than one bird...my first suspicion would be infection of the ovary.
How old are these birds?
No other symptoms?

I'm guessing that you have a prankster in the neighborhood. Hiding eggs till they are well past prime or otherwise altering the contents, then returning them to the nest. barring that possibility, I wonder if it's a LASH egg inside a normal shell. Given that you are finding them fairly frequently, and from more than one hen, I vote for the first scenario.

I think my chicken has something like this but shell-less stick in her I've been trying to get it out all week. It's like a dried up firm discolored inner egg she won't pass :(
HELP

@Chickalish ......You need to start a new thread here

Include the answers to as many of these questions as are applicable.
Some pics would be of great value.
