My olive egger, Kasumi!

Or at least sold to me as one haha.
Looking a bit roosterish, but so very beautiful. I love spotted birds.

I'll add another update as they grow up!

I just hatched my first olive egger! It's a lavender Ameraucana mixed with a Wheaten Marans
(It's the dark one up front btw)

So Kasumi is growing into a lovely lady! (Or roo, hubby still thinks it's a boy)

My attempt at OE using Welsummers resulted in greenish blue eggs so been hatching some more OE. Marans x Australian Araucana this time. I hatched 9 chicks so far, gave three away to a lady for her broody hen and have more in the incubator

Ended up with only TWO pullets! And I'm sure they are actually back crosses not F1 hopefully I get some olive eggs.

Also hatched some purchased olive eggs as well a while back. its 50/50 for green eggs with these three.
