NY chicken lover!!!!

I'm still looking for a companion or two for Sandy. If anyone has any that you'd be willing to sell, or knows where I can find an older pullet or two, please let me know, I would really appreciate it!
Rats, bad news, the fellow contacted my friend after my friend sent him the link to here, he says he has no bantams to sell. :(

I know of a fellow who works at a hardware lumber store out this way who raises Japanese Bantams. I could ask after him and see what his situation is if you like.

Makes me think that Tractor Supply and Ace Hardware and lumber yards in your area would be a good place to ask around!

That's unfortunate. But I would be interested in the Japanese bantams for sure! Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it!

That's great, thank you so much!
OK I just DM'd you with info. He will give some of his bantams away, but then he said he wants to give away a rooster too, so I hope it's not a requirement to get some hens. Japanese bantams are a special type of chicken, read up on them - the short legs are an interesting gene mutation. I don't know how strictly he adheres to the SOP and what he does about the ones that don't meet the standards, when he culls them or if he culls at all.
