There's a patch of wet sawdust where I assume she was drooling/vomiting last night,

do not use sawdust > this often causes impactions in the crop.

As others previously have mentioned, this sounds like sourcrop and crop stasis > crop stasis means the crop musculature is not moving the feed (and water) through (many things can cause crop stasis) so basically your bird risks starvation and dehydration with this condition > WHEN YOU SEE YOUR BIRDS LOSING EXCESS LIQUID THEN YOU NEED TO PUT ELECTROYTES IN THE WATER AS DEHYDRATION WILL KILL YOUR BIRD QUICKER THAN WHAT IS CAUSING IT.

Aw that's too bad :( my hen is egg bound and she's puking too! Sorta clear but a yellow tint it's sad I hate seeing her like this but I don't want to kill her, I already lost a chicken a few weeks ago (reason:unknown)
