Araucana's don't have tails, that means your chicken is an ameracauna, a different type of araucana. It could either be a roo or hen, you can almost never tell at this age. These types of chickens are nearly impossible to tell gender wise as chicks. I have an 6 week old ameracauna, and i've been wondering to if it is a roo or hen.
