I saw some pictures of them and I love them. Just a few questioins if anyone raises them.
How much for a pair?
Where can you get some?
Can I see some pics lol

just a few short years ago, they were ungodly in price. They are down to the $250-$400 per pair range now, as many breeders now have them.
There are numerous sites where these types of birds are sold, as well as 2 gamebird publications with these types for sale
the Gamebird Breeders and Conservationist Gazette, and the A.P.W.S are the 2 biggest
Also a forum dedicated to these as well, but I dont need to post a link here, PM me if you want it.
also Mallard Lane Farms sells them, that's their website as well, though most will be sold out by now on them. You need to find a good reputable breeder and get an order in mid summer in most cases.
Good luck, they are beautiful for a mutation!

Here is a picture of the drakes! I have two pair.. The back little guy and another that I don;t have pictures of yet! The front one was one I had but we bought them not knowing they were pinnioned! So that pair was sold.
My breeder here may have a pair of pinnioned if you would be interested in those. We got three pair toghether and didn't know that they were like that till they got here. I know he sold two pair but could still have the third.

I paid between $325-350 this year for the 2 pair I have.
Hopefully I will have them next year! I also have Apricots and a White Drake!

I'm about to buy a pair of silver wood ducks. But the breeder I'm buying them from said that he could never get any ducklings from breeding silver to silver but had better luck breeding silver to split/silver hen. Can anyone who has silver wood ducks please share your experience breeding them and if anyone had the same problem? Thanks...
