Hey All,
I've had a sick hen for about a week now. She's a 10 month old barred rock. When I first noticed that she wasn't acting right, she had a long poop hanging from her butt. When I was inspecting her the poop came out and it looked like it had a bunch of long (7-8 inches) strands of hay in it.
I fed her some bread soaked in olive oil and have made sure she's been drinking, but she's lethargic and mostly stays in a sort of huddled up position.
Today, she made a really nasty poop that smelled horrendous. That's where the pics come in, you can see that there's a solid black looking log there with some long strands of hay that appear white. I should note that there was also quite a bit of liquid.
Anyone have any thoughts?
