I have my first show this fall, and probably my only one, in Hutchinson MN October 26. Im looking at taking 5 black hens and 1 black Cockerel. If any of you are in this area stop by because it is a Cochins International District Meet!

LF Cochins are by far our favorite! We finally found some big LF Cochin hens after searching and searching for some that are truly large. We then couldn't find a decent looking BIG LF Cochin Rooster, until yesterday, and we are picking him up Monday, we are so so excited to start breeding them! where did you find your LF Cochins? I’m in the process of emailing with breeders now. But, I would love to hear about any good show quality breeders that you’ve had good luck with.

This is my little 7 week old girl Madame Maxime (after the Change as in Harry Potter). She is the sweetest little thing. She loves attention, will run up to you and follow you around for scratches and pats. Will even get jealous and flop in front of you if you are paying attention to another chicken. She's doing that in the middle photo, I was looking at the babies in the hutch and she didn't like it. I scratched her belly and she was happy. She's basically a puppy in a chicken body.

Also, does anyone know what colour she is?
