Good day fellow Okies! I have a 14 wk old Easter Egger rooster that needs to be rehomed. I have 2 Roo’s already with 17 hens and he definitely needs his own flock of girls. He’s very sweet and isn’t aggressive toward people. I’m in the OKC area if interested!

Greetings from OKC! :frow This 14 week old Orpington cockerel is looking for a new home. He's very sweet, but we sadly cannot keep him in our urban flock. He's bred from a white roo and either a chocolate or lavender hen - both orps. We're sad to see him go but would be willing to drive a bit, if need be, to find him a new home. Feel free to reply or message me if you think he'd be a good fit for your flock.

Welcome to all the new members and “Heh” to the “old timers”.
Checking in from Central Oklahoma. It is hot as blazes and we are over run by grasshoppers. I’m letting the flock free range and they are fed up with the grasshoppers too.
I’m not hatching eggs this year. I sold half my flock and moved the remaining 30 back in to the barn hen house where I can keep the cooler.
I’ve had too many health issues to recover from since October so the garden is just the minimum.
Looking forward to a break in the weather.

Nana take care of yourself, its been that way here too, health issues are interfering with chicken keeping. Need to do some coop repairs, its a slow process, but enjoying those chickens I have and waiting for cooler weather. Post when you can!
