What are you using for a duck waterer?

Am interested in making a waterer and would like to see pics and descriptions you have made. Or purchased? The big issue for me is that the drinking area needs to be large enough for the ducks to get their beaks and noses into so they can clean them properly. A chicken waterer doesn't have a wide enough drinking area. I have seen where some duck owners have made a waterer from a 5 gallon tub w/lid and inserted it in different round bowls. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks for taking the time to answer me.
 
We have various bowls and pans that get dumped and refilled. There are also two fence mounted auto waters. Plus the pools and all this water (rain) that has flooded the pasture currently.
 
I love my Little Giant auto-waterer for fowl (in the duckhouse). They fill it with sand, but it is easy to dump and re-fill. I am hoping a heat lamp in the house keeps it from freezing.

I am about to make 2 cookie-tin heaters for other outdoor vessels - not so easily dumped and refilled.

This is the chicken waterer - you want the one for fowl. I have not yet managed to hang this one in a location exclusive for chicken use.
 
I was just thinking about this the other day.

Right now I have a 2 gallon bucket for my chickens, geese and ducks. I'm going to buy a concrete tub and put a wire mesh platform over it then put the bucket on the platform so they ducks/geese can drink/dunk their heads and any they "dribble" over will go into the tub instead of on my floor.
 
I use three gallon buckets on a raised expanded metal grate. In the winter I use bucket heaters to keep them thawed. That works fairly well, they make a mess out of it, but rarely get in them.
 
I use rubber pans they work great for my lil Call ducks I put it over wire so all the mess falls done

i use a rubber horse feed bucket!! its about 8 inches high and maybe 12 inches diameter, and they all (4) gather around it cleaning themselves allday. my lot dont seem to be big fans of their 3 ponds! (unless i throw some corn in for fun hehe)
the bucket is usually about half empty by the end of the day and pretty mucky so i have to refill it twice a day if i want them to have clean water. but they usually drink out of the ponds too. it works well and i know from last winter that the rubber buckets are much easier to break the ice etc, tho some buckets did eventually snap despite being rubber!
