I have a beautiful pair of English Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons. The hen has been laying very well, and I hate to see the eggs go to waste. I only have one hen, so I am only going to offer 3 eggs at a time in order to send only fresh eggs. She has been laying about 5 to 6 eggs a week, so the odds are good that I can send at least one extra egg (total 4) if she lays it before the box goes out. I set and hatched a few of their eggs myself in November to be sure of fertility, and we had 100% fertility and 100% hatched without any help. So I am pleased. These two birds, Petey and Lucy, are so beautiful, gentle, well mannered and healthy. My husband bought them for me as a gift from an auction by Greenfire Farm. They are HUGE and fluffy and the soft color is very lovely. You can see a ton of pictures of the breeding pair, and the chicks we hatched from them this week, here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.164732300281123.44831.156195471134806&type=1 Thanks for looking.

You can send payment via paypal to [email protected].

I have not sold here on BYC before, but I do have experience with shipping eggs. Each egg will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, secured in a carton which will be wrapped, and then boxed with lots of padding. I cannot garuntee anyone's hatch results, obviously, due to things beyond my control....such as the post office and incubation methods....but I will do everything I can to ensure that these eggs are packed carefully and shipped fresh. If the buyer does have any problems or concerns they are always welcome to talk to me. Thanks for your interest.

Oh, and I forgot to add in the original listing that these guys are true double barred lemon cuckoos.

I received a question that I realized I should have addressed on here. These eggs will ship out as soon as payment is received after auction. I have been collecting over the weekend and already have 3 eggs from the last three days, so the odds seem good that there will be four eggs at least. Anyway, these eggs will ship out most likely on Tuesday as long as payment is made before the post office closes on Tuesday.

Click on the link to my facebook album in my description and there are a ton of pictures of the hen. I will upload one here as well in just a minute. Sorry if I wasn't clear about the link to the photos. The album has pictures of the pair from 8 weeks of age to just last week so you can see them at every stage.

Okay, here are some pictures with the hen, Lucy.
