can any "production red" experts tell me if this is a little roo?

I picked up 2 "pullets" from the stock shop, one EE and one production red. I dont know how i didnt notice this guys comb while there but after getting home it is looking suspicious. I assume these are about 2 to 3 weeks old? Not sure. Here are pics of the 2 hopefully someone can help me out, if its a roo I will need to take him back.
I dont know if production reds just have combs that show earlier or not... thanks for the help

I highly doubt it is a rooster, the people who posted seem to be mistaken. Production reds, also called sex links, are gendered by color. The males are actually white on the back and the girls are red. This chick looks red to me, so I presume 'pullet'

Production Reds are not Sex-Links far from it...


Production Reds are a hybrid .
The Production Red can come in two different lines/types, the first of the two was bred solely from the R.I. Red as with the New Hampshire but was bred more for the egg production.
The second type of Production Red is a R.I. Red with some Leghorn blood added to add to the egg production and may have added to the brown-ish color of some of the Production Red that some hatcheries call there, "Dark Rhode Island Reds".

Now there are some hatcheries calling there Rhode Island Red/ New Hampshire cross a "Production Red" and to me there just another hybrid (cross) and not relay a Production Red.
