I just bought these cuties yesterday...was told, and advertised, as about one year old Cochins....and the lady seemed convincing. But, getting home and comparing them to photos online, I realized they are surely not Cochins, and not sure if age is right or not either?? This person sells a lot in this area and I feel let down, as she was "educating" me.
They seem to be great birds and I wouldn't mind keeping them, if they could still be profitable. Do you think their chicks will sell, anyways? I would hope to know the right breed title and age to sell them as.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I'm not totally sure but they really look like a cochin X OEGB mix...they are really pretty but, you are right, they are not cochins!

Nothing about them suggests they are part Cochin. Their type is completely wrong for that to be the case. They appear to be Langshan Bantams. However, the male has white earlobes which is a disqualification in that breed.

I looked up Langshan but couldn't find a bantam. I just bought a langshan chick a couple days ago.

It kinda looked like a Spanish white faced (I think that is what it's called) but I am super new to chickens so don't take my word on it just throwing it out there

the only real thing that says cochin is their feathered legs

Many breeds have feathered legs, including Langshans. For it to be a White Faced Black Spanish it would need to have a, wait for it, white face.
