I ordered all pullets from Ideal. 10 California Whites, and 10 Buff Leghorns. They are now all 12 weeks old. This last week i started to wonder if this BL is a Roo. Thanks for sharing your opinion:) ~Naomi

Look at the neck feathers and the hackle feathers. Do you see any that are shiny & pointed? Hen feathers are all rounded; roosters have shiny, pointed neck feathers and hackle (hip area) feathers. Comb says cockerel but it could be an early achiever

I think its a boy. In the first picture, it looks like it has red patches on its wing (though that could just be that shadow casting over it). Buff males get those redder patches on their wings. Good luck!
