Hi!
I have 4 3/4 month old silkies and don't know yet if they are hens or roosters. ( I hope they are hens, I have a lot of roosters already!) Thanks!!

Do you have pictures of the parents? The buff kinda looks like a cockerel to me. It is just so hard to tell. And the porcelain looks like a pullet to me.

The thing that has worked well for me at this age is to listen to their voices and see what they say. The females have a different tone and seem to ask questions. And they have a sweet voice. The boys also have a tome and do some fast cluckcluck(tacato) matter of fact a bit. Any behavior patterns? Watch them play (but I have had some boys that had real sweet voices too) :/

The porcelain looks like a pullet to me, and I'm not sure on the buff. Do you have a comb shot of the buff? I'm thinking it might be a cockerel, but I'm not sure.
