Dosage is 1/2cc injected into the breast muscle once a day for 3 days, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Inject just under the skin and alternate breasts and dont inject into the same site.
It can be given orally; 1/2cc orally once a day for 5-7 days, but no more than 7 days...1/4cc for smaller birds.

I am not sure but, I do know I don't know how to translate it. That is why I thought I would ask what the dosage for it is. A lot of times the same meds they give swine are used for chickens also.

Thanks

Just looked it up today and this is what I found out if given orally:
• poultry .5 cc
• full grown 1 cc
I've got two hens that I fairly sure has a respiratory infection. So went to TSC and got some today. Also got another type antibiotic and added to the entire flocks water because I noticed another gurgling.
Hope this Iinfo was if help,

So how much would you give to the following weights?

  • 100 gram (3.53 ounces)
  • 500 gram (17.67 ounces)
  • 750 gram (1.65 pounds)
  • 1000 gram (2.2 pounds)
  • 1500 gram (3.31 pounds)
  • 2000 gram (4.41 pounds)
  • 2500 gram (5.51 pounds)
  • 5000 gram (11.02 pounds)
  • 10000 gram (22.07 pounds)

And what if you had a Rhode Island Red hen that should weigh around 3000 grams, but was really sick and only weighed 1500 grams, would you give her the full grown amount of 1cc (50mg)? As you can probably tell, I'm a little funny about the importance of proper dosing, weighing and understanding the warnings, side effects, etc. about the drugs we give our animals.

For example, did you know that Tylan should not be given to horses? It can cause death in horses, but is that even on the label?
