When we let our chickens out this morning, our 12 week old polish was acting very lethargic. She was just sitting there huddled in a ball with her eyes closed. We have had other chickens with the same symptoms, so this is not totally new to us. We brought her inside and have been feeding her yogurt with cloves, ACV, honey, and cayenne. I have been watching her all morning and she seems to be doing better, but her droppings are all yellow and runny and smell like plain cooked millet. Then she had this one. What is the red spot? Is it blood or just shed intestinal lining?
