We built a little coop this week, using recycled lumber and an old cabinet.
It's funky and we love it.
I am most proud of the sliding door.
My back yard is divided into two parts, with a large fence.
The chicken coop is located on the other side of the fence.
However you can raise and lower the door from this side by pulling down the rope and attaching the ring to a wooden peg.
It's designed to fit the D20 automatic chicken coop door, should we decide to go with the motorized solution on a timer at a future date.
