my Duck has a week with a swollen leg already check it and does not seem that it pitted him something, don't see you anything. that may be, walk well.

It is the left leg where it looks swollen

already check and does not have any sore or any cut, the days I have to put salt on your leg.

Does he have a cut that could have caused it to inflame, try putting him in warmish water and see if the swelling will go down, try some epsom salt in his bath to see if that helps, also watch him, he may need a vet but if he is limping badly certainly take him to the vet.

:) best wishes

Anything on the other side behind the front of the leg on the back side. sore, cut? where the green circle is. They can get Bumble foot and it's actually a staff infection which needs treatment. so tell us what is on the back side of the leg if anything. Can you get a pic of back side?

I would first try warm Epsom salt compress (it is a laxative, don't let the duck ingest it), three times a day. I would try a lukewarm bath for the duck once a day, and if it were me, I would put a tiny dab of Traumeel on the foot and leg at bedtime.

You need to soak or wrap in Epsom salt compresses till swelling is completely gone. you also have to be careful not to let him drink and water that has ES in it because it also works as a laxative. Might be an infection that would also benefit from oral antibiotics. have you thought about that? you can get them at most feed stores and TSC

Soak the leg for about 15-20 minutes. You could also try wrapping a damp bag of chamomile tea on the leg. It can help with some irritation. And I agree with Miss Lydia, you may want to look into antibiotics. Is there a vet you could at least call and ask for a few suggestions?

Has there been any change with the leg?
