duck hybrid

I'm considering getting a male duck to breed my female Muscovies. I'd like to raise the ducklings for meat. I've pretty much decided that a male Muscovy is not a good fit for my situation. He'd just be too big to keep over winter and I know they can sometimes be mean and have to be separated...
