I have two Guinea hens and I have NO CLUE how to tell them apart… I can’t do it by call because as soon as I get close to the coop or pasture they are both doing warning calls and I don’t know who’s who. I can kind of tell who’s who when they are inside the coop not screaming at me, lol. Here...
We recently got our second round of chickens, so it's time again for the age old question -- pullet or cockerel?
All are about two and a half months old (got them April 1 and April 7).
Easter Egger: Max
Easter Egger: Chloe
She's the one I'm worried about.
Australorp: Nilin...
Take 2!
I had posted a thread a month or so ago asking for help sexing my chooks; at the time they were about 4wks old. They have just hit the 8-9wk mark and I'd like to see what y'all think. Are they all girls? Or do I have a bunch of roos on my hands?
(I reeeeeally hope not!😅) So here we go!
On April 11 of 2021, 3 baby chicks finally hatched from their incubator. Unfortunately 1 ended up disappearing outside, however I have 2 left that I would like to know the sex of. I will attach photos for reference. Any help would be appreciated!:wee

Hi Y'all,
Frequent visitor and first post here, I have some orphingtons that I need help with sexing. It looks to me like I have one roo and one hen or two roos. Could use a second opinion from one of y'all fine chicken experts.
All the best,
Jonathan

Hi! Wondering if I could have help determining if one of my girls could actually be a boy. The comb and wattles are much more developed than my other two Marans. Also noticably the largest and boldest of the six I have. This was the first one to start hopping up on me and exploring the new coop...
This is Cambria, my 5 month old bearded silkie/polish cross. She's a bit of a foodie and will peck my hands to see if I have any treats for her. I don't actually know if she or any of my chickens are females yet, but fingers crossed.

This is Blizzard, my non-bearded silkie/polish cross...
