2nd attempt on hatching quail. My first had a couple of issues that included a cat getting into the incubator to eat the newly hatched... I got these from eBay and super excited. Day 3 and 15 out of 18 have life showing. Should I take out the eggs that look like infertile? Or should I keep them in longer and of so how long?

I can't wait to hear what happens...quails are about 3rd on my list of additional animals to acquire.

Naughty kitty! I'd leave the questionable eggs in as sometimes the shell's a bit thicker making it harder to see, or it's in a slightly cooler spot in the incubator etc. But 15 out of 18 developing is a great result so far.

I'm hoping it stays at least 15. My last batch it was 7 out of 13. 2 of them had cracked while being turned in my incubator.
