A big apology to them mods

The link in my original intro seems to be causing repetitive trips to moderation jail. I'll try not to do that again. Never had this problem on another forum.

Hi Isobel, we set the system on site to hold posts by new members that contains "outside" or offsite links. This measure was taken, reluctantly, in an effort to curb the flood of spam we've been getting over the last few months. It got a point where we're having to take drastic measures, like hold and vet first posts with links by new members, to check if it's spam. Good thing is it did prove to be quite effective!

Once you've posted a few more times the system will "trust" you and allow you to do more things, like post outside links, create a signature, place an ad in the Buy~Sell~Trade section, etc.

I apologise for the confusion this caused.

It was my own fault for trying to edit the typo after you'd already cleared it. I didn't realize that would retrigger the moderation. Won't do it again once I'm out of jail! Promise.
