Are my hens actually drakes?!

Definitely sounds hen to me. Not sure why her bill is so light though. How does she look now?

Pretty much the same but with less fluff. She's definitely a hen though cuz she does quack. I would have liked her to have the darker bill and lighter colors because I think that's so cool but she still is very pretty.

Not sure if you're responding to me or not. But yeah the Saxony and magpie were never in question, just the grey headed male Welsh harlequin. They definitely both ended up being drakes lol I know how to tell the difference now from about 5-6weeks. Lol. Here is one now

She's very unique looking though, it's cool! Maybe her bill will change over time and with laying onset, who knows?

And yes my drake is very beautiful, his bro got rehomed so he's got his own harem now but the one that remains is picking on my almost 1 yr old laying female who just lost her best friend. So he is in drake jail.

I've had to put my drake in jail this year - at least at night because he's been so hard on the three hens I have left from my original group, particularly one of my roens which was a big reason why I got my three new ones.. hopefully your drake cools off a bit soon. I know mine is starting to molt so he's getting a bit better (at least not trying to kill me as adamantly )
