Should I get my full-grown hens this fall/winter? Or should I wait till spring...
It gets pretty cold in Minnesota...

It depends on what breeds you are getting, the number of birds and how you are set up for management of the birds during the winter.

Its really not too difficult to have chickens during the winter if you are prepared first.
If you think you have or can get everything set up, I say go for it.
