Gender & Breed guesses!

New to turkeys, I got 2 from Family, Farm, & Home about two months ago after researching a bunch about them and finally decided to get some this year. Not sure what breed they are since I think the feed store mixed them up. I know it’s kinda hard to really tell the genders with turkeys but I figured this site would have fun taking guesses. They’re super comical and sooo sweet I love them so much lol. The brown one actually has non stopped danced today, it’s so funny to watch.

The smaller one is a bourbon red and the larger one i’m not totally sure, they said it was a narragansett so it might be. I know it’s kinda hard to really tell the genders with turkeys but I figured this site would have fun taking guesses. They’re super comical and sooo sweet I love them so much lol. The brown one actually has non stopped danced today, it’s so funny to watch.

They are too young to sex from pictures. They need to be at least 3 months old. Sometimes with late developing toms it can take up to 6 months.

This is not a Bourbon Red.

Honestly was a little confused about the fact it wasn’t red at ALL lol, figured it either needed to grow a little more or the feed store labeled them wrong.
