Sad news, I lost little Dale yesterday. Stupid accident where he jumped/fell at the exact perfect angle to fall from the coop entrance into the chicken’s water. Their regular waterer was leaking, and I swapped it for a tray style dish, and put that up on a cinderblock so the chicks wouldn’t wander into it. Well. That didn’t work.

Spent most of yesterday crying and feeling guilty. Lesson learned.

Good day today. Mama is taking the little ones out and about more. Gave the flock some leftover pasta as a treat.
