Hi, all...I just posted a question in the breeders section, and realized I forgot to introduce myself! I'm "Hepcat"...I live in a Boston area suburb, with my husband, two children, one English setter, one house rabbit, one elderly Button quail, and our newest member...a stray cat we just rescued.
As if that weren't enough, I have been planning for years to try and figure out how I could raise chickens; the new hatcheries that do small orders have really inspired me! I spent way too much time mooning over the various breeds in the poultry house at the Topsfield Fair this past fall, my family had to drag me out. I'm hoping to convince my husband to take the plunge this spring, and am doing a little research and planning now.
