Help! NPIP questions

Ok, I have been wanting to get Npip certified for years now and really trying to figure out how to do it. Do testers have to come out to test your flock or can you test your flock? Also, can you ship chicks when you first get NPIP certified? TIA

Contact your state officials for more information, as policies vary by state. In my experience, testers will come out and test either all or a portion of your birds.
