Helping a brooding hen hatch her egg

I have a turkey that I am letting brood one of her eggs. I noticed yesterday it looks like it is trying to hatch. The shell is falling away from the membrane but it doesn't look like it's opening the membrane other the vent hole. I could see it moving in the membrane so I left it alone mainly because the hen was getting really aggravated with me. My wife checked again this morning and most of the shell is gone but the membrane is still intact.....should I open the membrane to help it?

Is it due to hatch at this time? You could make a hole in the membrane at the air sac. You might need to moisten the membrane with coconut oil and q-tip if it’s dried out. I don’t have experience with turkeys, only chickens, but I imagine it’s similar.
