You want a photo of the wool or the sheep? The pile of messed up roving is from one those sheep...

Cheap is good to practice with but don't forget there can be different quality of fluffy, I have had a few roving that have been slightly felted with nepps in it

I've only heard it pronounced "Lester."

I don't want this thread to derail, but lambs have fiber, right? I got to bottle feed some little orphan lambs a couple months ago, and they were the cutest things.

Babies fibers that first fleece is usually the softest with fiber animals. It's why baby alpaca is so gosh darn expensive

I love sheep but the plan is to have alpaca for fiber some day. I think they'll fare better in the south than fiber sheep.
Also have any of you guys seen how they remove parasites?!

At first I thought this was some barbaric way of ending them.

I haven't spun it, but I used it in a fair amount of the Batts I had for sale. I need to make a blending board so I can make rolags to spin from. The fiber is too short for me to just spin clump by clump like most people like to.
