Jersey Giants first day out.

First day out! They have an entire acre of land to roam and they stay right here by the deck. Never had chicks do this. The last batch went everywhere. Cute Jersey Giants.
At least they are safe. But the cat and dog follow them when they wonder. Never lost one to a hawk or mongoose. Lost one to a rat last November. That was a sad night.

Lucky giants. I know my chicks always love getting out into the world. I bought a special pop up/fold down netting "cage" for them outside. There is no bottom so they get to have grass. The first day was great, then it got cold and they have been in the garage for 6 days. Still better than a box.

Your giants look bigger, I'm sure they will be fine, especially in Hawaii.
