Hello everyone! Just have a question. I have 18 two year old hens. And I hatched 6 babies that are 10 weeks old now. 3 pullets and 3 cockerels I would like to try to keep all of them. Do you think it’s possible? I have almost 900 sq ft run! And 2 coops 96 sq feet total! Just looking for some advice

The coops might be tight. Males need more space than females.

It's doable.... until it's not. I had 3 get along for months and then suddenly the youngest (and largest) decided to take out the current flock master and I had to seperate the oldest male to keep him safe.

It just depends on your roosters. They will establish a order of dominance. They may tolerate each other and form subflocks. They may all work together with one flock with one roo clearly in charge. The submissive roos may not breed much. ...or you could end up with a roo who does not tolerate other males in the flock or over breeding of hens.
