Mite question/Problem?

Can mites crawl inside Chickens? Our most recent rescue, Derp has mites. When we got her,she was mistakend for being blind...? I'm not really sure what her owners where thinking? Yes we are treating her for the mite . But my question is can mute crawls inside the ears mouth etc.

Yes, chickens can get mites in the ears. I don't know if they would get inside the beak?
Are you seeing something strange inside the beak - can you take pictures?

What are you using to treat her?
