Here in Asheville we have been working several months to get a new chicken friendly ordinance. I look forward to digging in and reading about efforts of others. I'll scoot over to the "Ordinance" section and look it over. At this stage of our process I'm interested in how to strengthen our position with regard to "Animal Control enforcement" issues. One of the things we're up against is the city possibly saying "we don't have enough manpower to enforce more permitting and complaints." So we want to be able to refer to specifics from other cities.
