today when i was picking up the hen i picked up one of the eggs with her and dropped it on another egg. the one i picked up is cracked. i candled the egg and the chick seems fine. will the chick live??

If the egg is cracked, I don't think it will survive. I could be wrong, so you might leave it there for a couple of days to see whay happens...
