my pullet has a really hard crop..
is that normal??

My 11 week olds have hard crops that come and go. I think it is just part of their digestion. You probably just noticed it right after she ate and the food is just sitting there waiting to be digested. I know this may be a funny question, but does her breath smell sour? If not, she should be fine. BTW, what happened to your other chickens? I had 8 die on me today! Makes for a crummy morning!

Especially since I don't know why.
