There is an add on CL for Quail eggs and it says that they start laying at 6-8 weeks old. Is that true? It says they are Jumbo Cortnix quail.

Yep its true. But there also like chickens some begin laying sooner than others.
We've had some start laying at 6 weeks and other that still aren't laying at 10 weeks.

They start crowing/calling at 8 weeks. My guy here is a big mouth but SO CUTE.
He's not laying eggs yet but we are hoping he starts any day.

PC he looks great! So fat! Our guys haven't started crowing yet, at least from what I can tell. No eggs yet, but we should get them any day now

Thank you everyone for the reply. Learn something everyday. Are these the Cornish Rocks of the Quail world?

PC, beautiful bird you have.
