So, I have been buying our feed at the local farmers store, and hav loved doing business with them and will continue for most items, but the price on feed went up two dollars there and at the local agway it's up over $10.00 a bag. I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for me, like whether ordering from blue seal direct or some other company saved $$. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Folks.

i dont know what to tell you todo about high feed prices.except try to find a cheaper feedstore.my lay feed cost me $15.20/100.an thats from a big feemill.so i dont know what to tell you.

I go to the local feed mill here in town, and I pay $15.70 for 100 pounds of 20% layer pellets. Its a little steep, but that will last my 13 hens ( and 3 frizzles) about a month. They also get about a cup of cracked corn a day, and they free range...oh, and a few handfulls of scratch before bedtime.
