Would love to hear any tips for reintroducing hen back into coop after week of quarantine (see previous post, she was being picked on by other hens). I have a small flock of 3 and my hen is all healed. I have since got her some pine tar because noticed when I placed her in run another hen immensely started pecking at her feet. Also prepared with jacket for back so they don't peck her there and have lots of other things for them to peck. I hope the reintroduction goes well but any tips are welcome such as day or night in coop and a little at a time and observe. Tips w pine tar use also welcome ... just read from blogs it's helpful but direct experience here always helpful.

With only 3 hens,,, I am wondering if they have a very small run, and are cranky because of insufficient space.
Introduce the hen back to the others in free-range environment. If you notice the aggressor still trying to hurt your hen,,,,,,,,,, separate the aggressor for one week in like quarantine situation.
No info or opinion about pine tar. never used such.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome
