Setting Eggs 12/28 - Hatching Buddies? Hatch-Along

so I have a 4-week old chick crowing..its the funniest thing! I couldnt figure out what was going on at first but then realized he made the noise right after he heard my serama rooster crow. its too funny! hows everyone elses chicks? I sold 4 of my faverolles including a roo. My cochins are getting bigger but I have a few frizzle that are taking forever to feather out.

Goodness, my silkie roo that is at least 5-6 months old just started to crow this week!
BTW, how do you tell already what the sex of any of the chicks is? We love all three of our little ones and keeping fingers crossed for hens.

With the BLRW's I'm 8/8 feather sexing at 3 or 4 days. Girls having 2 rows of feathers and males having only 1 tight tot the down. It doesn't work on all breeds and I haven't had any bantams hatch to see if it applies to them.
