Silkie loving frizzle Cochin bantam roo

I got a new older rooster, Absolem, and my silkie hen, Yeti, absolutely LOVES him, I have yet to see her away from him. Sadly he’s still recovering but I bet once he recovers she’ll follow him all around the yard even though she grew up with my silkie rooster. They’re so sweet, it’s almost like Yeti is helping him recover. A lot of my hens like him, but Yeti will not leave his side unless it’s to make sure the other rooster is okay.

I’ll have to treat Yeti for bugs but I think it’s worth it, I haven’t seen her out of the coop this long since the first snow.

Update on this guy;
He died today due to anemia and malnutrition… my other rooster passed yesterday as well. Hoping to find another sweet quiet boy
